ENTRY FEES
Motorcycling Canterbury has a policy of refunding or transferring entry fees paid when for some reason a rider is unable to attend.
FRIDAY TRACK DAYS AT RUAPUNA
These days are open to anyone who holds an MNZ racing licence. The days run from 9.00am until 5.00pm and generally motorcycles go on the track on the hour and cars on the half hour. The cost is $100 for MCI/BEARS/CAMS members; $120 for riders from other clubs.
ENTRY CUT-OFF
The cut-off for entries for our club meetings is 5.00pm on a Wednesday. One reason for the cut-off is it takes time to sort transponders, day licences etc. We also need to know how many trainers will be needed. You can still enter on the day but there is an additional cost for the entry, $35. It takes time to enter riders on the day, so it is preferable to pre-enter, online.
ON LINE ENTRIES
This is the preferred method of entering. Your name will appear on the rider list. We do not have to manually enter you to the meeting. Manual entries do not appear on the list of riders on the website.
COST PER RIDER
There is a fee for a rider, $65; $20 if you are 16 years or younger (unless it is entry on the day). You do not pay $65 for each class entered.
TRAINING CLASS
If you enter just the training class and have on-on-one training, there is no cost. It is only when you enter a racing class there is a fee. You can enter your class and still do training.
CLUBMAN CLASS
This class is for new riders on bikes bigger than 250. You can have a trainer if you prefer; as no points are allocated to this class, you do not need to hire a transponder (but you can if you want a record of your times).
Call Wendy on 027 357 1117 or email wendy@mci.net.nz if you have any other queries.
See you at the track.
